Review: Circa Home Natural Wax Candle- Blackberries & Cream

This is a review on the Circa Home Natural Wax Candle in Blackberries & Cream. This review is based on my opinions and my opinions only; therefore your experience with this product may not be the same as mine.

Recently I was browsing in a home ware shop and stumbled across the Circa Home Candles, this was the first candle I smelt and I immediately fell in love! It’s in a very simple container with a greyish lid, its very sleek looking. I’m not too good at describing scents but all I can say is that it smells SOOO DELICIOUS! It smells like Blackberries and Cream T___T, or Blackberry pie? I could smell this candle all day.  Apparently it’s one of Circa Homes new candle fragrances, so I’m pretty excited to try the other fragrances they have. I will definitely be stocking up on this fragrance. The price is about $30 AUD, which I think is reasonable as candles here in Australia are so expensive; therefore it's a reasonable price. I highly recommend people to go smell this candle if you see it in shops, you will not regret smelling it!

Please let me know your thoughts on this candle if you have tried it, or any other favourite candles you may have.

Review: Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner VS K Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 1 Day Tattoo

This is a review on the Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner and the K Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 1 Day Tattoo. I love both of these products and have been using both of them for along time to be able to review these products. This review is based on my opinions and my opinions only; therefore your experience with this product may not be the same as mine.

This eyeliner is fantastic eyeliner and is one of Japans leading selling eyeliners and has been compared to the K Palette eyeliner for a while now. This eyeliner in black is a fine felt tip and has adorable pink packaging. This eyeliner is great for precision and lasts pretty long on the lids, if you do not rub it. This is a waterproof eyeliner therefore great to have if you live in humid areas. The only down side to this eyeliner is that it isn’t as black as the K palette eyeliner and it starts to fade through out the day, the lasting power on the dolly wink eyeliner is not a good as the K pallet eyeliner. This eyeliner will smudge or fade if you rub it too much, or if you rub when it is in contact with water. This eyeliner is sold for 1200 JP Yen, I guess on the more expensive side for a eyeliner but the quality of this eyeliner is definitely worth the money.

This eyeliner is also a very fantastic eyeliner and also is one of Japans leading selling eyeliners. This is my favourite eyeliner of all time and I still have not found any eyeliner that is better than this one. This eyeliner is also a fine felt tip eyeliner and it is smudge proof. The packaging is kind of plain, but the lasting power of this eyeliner is incredible. This also gives very good precision for girls who love to wing out their eyeliner. The only down side I can think of with this eyeliner is that it will smudge like most eyeliners if you rub it or if you rub it when in contact with water, and of course the plain packaging compared with the Dolly Wink eyeliner. This eyeliner is also sold for 1200 JP Yen.

In summary, both of these eyeliners are one of Japans best selling eyeliners and I can see why there is so much hype about these eyeliners. They both have great staying power, if you do not rub it or rub it when in contact with water, as they are both waterproof. These eyeliners are great for people who live in humid weathers or have oily lids and have issues with smudging. You can draw both thick or thin lines which is great, and it is also very precise at doing so. Both these eyeliners are sold for 1200 JP Yen (In Japan), definitely on the more pricier side for eyeliners but for the quality of both the eyeliners, they are definitely worth the hype and also the money. I would have to say I prefer the K palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 1 Day Tattoo, more than the Dolly Wink Eyeliner, as the staying power and the colour is incredible and I think for the money, K Palettes eyeliners are more worth it. The Dolly Wink one has better packaging and is adorable but practical wise, I recommend the K Palette one much more.

Both of these eyeliners can be bought on Sasa:

Please let me know your thoughts on these eyeliners if you have tried them.

Review: Lucas Papaw Ointment

This is a review on the Lucas Papaw Ointment. I have used this ointment religiously for a long time now and therefore believe that i am able to review this product. This review is based on my opinions and my opinions only, therefore your experience with this product may not be the same as mine :)

This product is the Lucas Papaw Ointment and is an ointment made in Australia from pure papaws. This really is an incredible product and I highly recommend everyone to purchase it and try it out. This ointment is a very versatile product and I LOVE IT! ♡ This ointment claims to help with burns, skin irritations, cracked skin, chapped lips, insect bites and more! I use this as a daily moisturiser for the lips and it does an incredible job at keeping your lips moisturised and chapped free. You can use this product for basically anything from dry elbows to even on dry cuticles. I guess this can be a substitution for Vaseline BUT, I personally love papaw ointment more ^.^ The papaw ointment seems to make my lips much more softer than Vaseline does, and I kind of like the smell of the papaw ointment. It’s also very small so it is handy to keep in your handbag for any accidents that may happen. I recommend using this product at night as it is a bit greasy feeling like Vaseline, its also great to put on anywhere right before sleeping as you wake up to chapped free moisturised lips/body part! If you are in Australia this can be easily and readily purchased from Priceline, chemist etc. and this product isn't very expensive at all, $5-6 AUD
I am not sure about elsewhere around the world but I am certain that you can purchase this ointment on sites such as Ebay and Amazon.

Please let me know your thoughts on this ointment if you have tried it.

Review: YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils Mascara and YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils Shocking Mascara

This is a review on the YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils Mascara and the YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils Shocking Mascara. Both mascaras have been out for quite some time now, and I have used them both for a reasonable amount of time to be able to review these products. This review is based on my opinions and my opinions only therefore your experience with this product may not be the same as mine :)

YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils Mascara
This is one of my favourite mascaras of all time and is definitely a must have product of mine as this product makes my lashes look AMAZING. This mascara comes in a gorgeous gold tube packaging that looks super luxurious and I could definitely look at it all day!  It has a very pleasant floral scent, which I like but some of you who are sensitive to scented products may be discouraged by the strong floral scent. The formula is lovely as it does a really good job in the lengthening and volumising department and also is great at separating your lashes. This mascara does spread and separate your lashes evenly which is always nice and is very black (deep black) in colour. This mascara coats all of your lashes evenly and doesn't make your lashes clumpy which is always a plus (which i like) as you won't get spider looking lashes! It is also very good for layering and adding multiple coats as it evenly coats each lashes thinly, but honestly, 1 coat makes all the difference to my lashes. Some bloggers have talked about their mascara flaking and smudging, I haven't had any problems with both flaking or smudging both in winter or summer, but the downside to this mascara is of course the hefty price tag as well as how fast this mascara dries up. In my experience, this mascara dries up in about 2-3 months; therefore repurchasing this mascara every 2-3 months with the hefty price tag is always hard and can only be done when you can splurge on a high end product. This mascara is great for the day time when you want a natural false eyelash effect, as it gives you the effect of having false eyelashes without the extra step or pain of putting them on ^.^
As this mascara is a high-end mascara it is definitely on the pricy side for a mascara costing $52 AUD, definitely a splurge. Although it is very pricy, I personally believe that it is worth the money.

YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils Shocking Mascara
I was very excited when the Shocking mascara came out, as I was a big fan of the original Faux Cils mascara. This mascara also comes in the same gold tube packaging as the original Faux Cils mascara, but has the word "shocking" written on the tube. I knew I wasn't a very big fan of very bold and dramatic looking eyelashes but I gave it a go and ended up disappointed :(. This mascara is definitely more of a nigh time friendly mascara which is much more clumpier and dramatic looking than the original Faux Cils, therefore if you are a fan of clumpier/dramatic looking lashes, this mascara may be for you. I have seen my friends use this mascara and it looks GORGEOUS on them, so I am disappointed that I didn't get the same results as them. This mascara gives your lashes a great voluminous effect and also lengthens your lashes at the same time, you will definitely not need false eye lashes with this mascara! For me, it was just far too thick and clumpy looking and gave the spider lash effect, which is something that I hate, on top of that my lashes didn't end up separating as well as the original faux Cils, and it was a total mess. This mascara is also the same price as the original Faux Cils, at $52 AUD, which again is very expensive and also dries up pretty quickly like the original Faux Cils mascara. I will honestly say that I will not be repurchasing this mascara, it was clump city for me and I didn't have a good experience with this.

To sum it all up, both the mascaras are on opposite ends of the scale for me. I loved the original Faux Cils but ended up very disappointed with the Shocking mascara. I know that so many people raved about the Shocking mascara but for me, it didn't work out. Both mascaras are definitely not cheap for mascaras but i do believe that the original Faux Cils is worth the splurge.

Please let me know your thoughts on these mascaras if you have tried them.
