Review: Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner VS K Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 1 Day Tattoo

This is a review on the Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner and the K Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 1 Day Tattoo. I love both of these products and have been using both of them for along time to be able to review these products. This review is based on my opinions and my opinions only; therefore your experience with this product may not be the same as mine.

This eyeliner is fantastic eyeliner and is one of Japans leading selling eyeliners and has been compared to the K Palette eyeliner for a while now. This eyeliner in black is a fine felt tip and has adorable pink packaging. This eyeliner is great for precision and lasts pretty long on the lids, if you do not rub it. This is a waterproof eyeliner therefore great to have if you live in humid areas. The only down side to this eyeliner is that it isn’t as black as the K palette eyeliner and it starts to fade through out the day, the lasting power on the dolly wink eyeliner is not a good as the K pallet eyeliner. This eyeliner will smudge or fade if you rub it too much, or if you rub when it is in contact with water. This eyeliner is sold for 1200 JP Yen, I guess on the more expensive side for a eyeliner but the quality of this eyeliner is definitely worth the money.

This eyeliner is also a very fantastic eyeliner and also is one of Japans leading selling eyeliners. This is my favourite eyeliner of all time and I still have not found any eyeliner that is better than this one. This eyeliner is also a fine felt tip eyeliner and it is smudge proof. The packaging is kind of plain, but the lasting power of this eyeliner is incredible. This also gives very good precision for girls who love to wing out their eyeliner. The only down side I can think of with this eyeliner is that it will smudge like most eyeliners if you rub it or if you rub it when in contact with water, and of course the plain packaging compared with the Dolly Wink eyeliner. This eyeliner is also sold for 1200 JP Yen.

In summary, both of these eyeliners are one of Japans best selling eyeliners and I can see why there is so much hype about these eyeliners. They both have great staying power, if you do not rub it or rub it when in contact with water, as they are both waterproof. These eyeliners are great for people who live in humid weathers or have oily lids and have issues with smudging. You can draw both thick or thin lines which is great, and it is also very precise at doing so. Both these eyeliners are sold for 1200 JP Yen (In Japan), definitely on the more pricier side for eyeliners but for the quality of both the eyeliners, they are definitely worth the hype and also the money. I would have to say I prefer the K palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 1 Day Tattoo, more than the Dolly Wink Eyeliner, as the staying power and the colour is incredible and I think for the money, K Palettes eyeliners are more worth it. The Dolly Wink one has better packaging and is adorable but practical wise, I recommend the K Palette one much more.

Both of these eyeliners can be bought on Sasa:

Please let me know your thoughts on these eyeliners if you have tried them.

xoxo Yuki
